Saltburn Photographic Society hosted the North Yorkshire and South Durham Photographic
Association (NYSDPA) 2017 Inter-club competition results presentation at the Saltburn Learning Campus on Friday 24th November.
Of the eight trophies competed for by the eleven clubs taking
part, five of them were won by Saltburn Photographic Society.
The Inter-club Print competition - which involves each club submitting six prints, was won by Saltburn P.S.
with Gallery Photogroup and Stokesley P.S. sharing second place. Saltburn P.S.
member Malcolm Blenkey won the trophy for the Best Colour Print and Guy Davies of Stokesley won the trophy for the Best Monochrome print.
The Inter-club Projected Image competition - which involves each club submitting six projected images, was won by
Northallerton Camera Club, with Saltburn P.S. and Guisborough Photo
Group sharing second place. Saltburn P.S. member David Beadle won the trophy for the Best Projected Image. This put Saltburn P.S. in the position of Overall Inter-club Competition Winners.
The Individual print competition - in which 78 prints were entered, was won by Rob Louw of
Stokesley P.S.
There was three Runners Up; Eddie Bishop of Northallerton C.C, Tony Robinson of
Gallery PG, and Paula Davies of Stokesley P.S.
Saltburn P.S. member
Alan Meek was Highly Commended, and Ian Snowdon was Commended.
The Individual Projected Image competition - in which 114 images were entered was won by Saltburn P.S. member Trevor Shelley.
Northallerton C.C member Pauline Pentony was Runner Up.
